With 40 years of experience being involved with the development of programmes using the SOI (Structure of Intellect, J.P Guilford) approach, Dr. Meeker is well- versed in understanding the different cognitive profiles of individuals across the lifespan.
His principal areas of specialisation include: computer programs for SOI diagnostic test analyses, LOCAN—the SOI reading program for figural learners, SOI training modules, Multi-Channel Communication—a means of instructing or training non-semantic learners – and Computer-based Classroom management to support individualized education.
Dr. Janet Zadina is an Educational Neuroscientist who sees brain research through the eyes of a teacher and teaching through the eyes of a researcher. After twenty years’ teaching experience at both high school and college levels she became a cognitive neuroscientist. Dr. Zadina bridges the fields of education and neuroscience through her work as a researcher, teacher, author, and international speaker.
Dr. Zadina is a CLADEA Fellow and the winner of the Society for Neuroscience Science Educator Award given to “an outstanding neuroscientist who has made a significant impact in informing the public about neuroscience.” She has given a TEDx talk and is the author of several books including:
